The following information will assist you and your legal professional to ensure you have the correct information. Here are some sample bequest clauses that will ensure your gift fulfills your wishes:
- I give to, Open Doors Canada, 8-19 Brownridge Rd. Halton Hills, ON L7G 0C6, _____% (or all) of the residue of my estate to be used at the discretion of Executive Director and Board of Open Doors Canada.

Can I designate in my will that the money be used for a specific country, project or region?
Yes, but the spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by the organization.
If you choose to restrict a contribution for use in a particular program or project, we will honour that restriction, with the understanding that, when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
