PLANNED GIVING

Plan your greatest, most impactful gift

There is a way for you to give a gift that will help Christians all over the world who are targets because they follow Jesus—and that will help you prepare for your financial future and leave a legacy of giving.

The term “planned giving” or “planned gifts” refers to special charitable gifts that require some knowledge and planning before they are “gifted” to a non-profit organization. These gifts can include legacy gifts through estate planning and giving through securities.

Legacy Gifts

Your generosity and foresight can plant seeds of hope for many generations to come! By giving a bequest to Open Doors through your will, you ensure that your passion lives on and that persecuted believers in Jesus Christ continue to receive the help they need. A legacy gift can continue to impact the lives of many people around the world into the future.

The gifts provided to Open Doors in your Will are vitally important. The promise of help long into the future frees us to make an important promise to those who will look to us for spiritual and practical support when their need is greatest.

Updating your Will is also an ideal opportunity to remember Open Doors and your extended family – the persecuted church. Why not make an appointment to see your solicitor today?

Giving Through Securities

Giving through securities can be a strategic way to give a planned gift.

A donor may want to take advantage of the tax savings offered by giving securities. By donating your securities (stocks or mutual funds), you can avoid paying the capital gains tax and receive a tax receipt for the fair market value.

With a little bit of planning, your gift of securities can impact the persecuted church and help you plan for your financial future.
