Please be praying for Iranian political activist and Christian convert, Mohammad Nikbakht, who faces torture and the risk of execution following his arrest in March 2026.
Nikbakht was violently arrested during a raid on his home and is currently being held in Isfahan’s Dastgerd Prison in the center of Iran.
His case has gained renewed attention after Article 18 reported that he has been threatened with charges carrying the death penalty while two of his brothers were sentenced to death.
International attention, awareness, and action are critical to protecting his life and holding Iranian authorities accountable for his treatment. As followers of Christ, we also call for urgent prayer, as we know our Lord sees the oppressed and answers prayers.

- Pray for Mohammad Nikbakht’s protection, strength, and swift release from prison. May he remain steadfast in his faith and experience God’s peace.
- Pray that Iranian authorities will uphold justice, protect human rights, and end the unjust actions towards Christians and other minorities.
- Pray that the global Church will remember those in chains (Hebrews 13:3), standing in prayer and practical support for believers suffering for their faith.
