1 Corinthians 12:26 reminds us of this truth about the body of Christ, that “if one part suffers, every part suffers with it.”
Thank you for taking the time to write and pray for a member of our persecuted family. Your words can help to encourage persecuted believers that they are not alone, but that their global family stands with them.
Current Opportunities

Robin faces persecution in Bangladesh because he chooses to follow Jesus. This decision led to the breakdown of their family when they were pressured to convert back to Islam. Robin's father renounced his faith in Jesus, divorced Robin’s mother, Moly, and started a new family. Robin and Moly chose a different path. This has led to isolation and persecution.
Robin is an intelligent boy who dreams of being a doctor when he grows up. It is hard for any child to face the persecution he has endured.
Could you send messages of encouragement to Robin, so he knows there are families praying for him and thinking about him from across the world? You can also write to encourage Moly as she brings up Robin by herself.
Please note: This opportunity is only available through email. Send your note to encourage@odcan.org.
Children in Central Asia are experiencing challenges because of their faith. For some, they are affected directly, with targeted violence experienced by the Christian community or specifically through discrimination preventing them receiving education. Some Christian children may also lose a parent to violence or arrest.
Our vision is that the children of the persecuted church would be connected with, loved by and resourced by their Christian family around the world, giving them the courage and strength to stand strong in their faith.
We are asking that you send children’s drawings to persecuted children in Central Asia. We ask specifically only for children’s drawings and not letters or cards.
As your prepare to send drawings, would you also pray?
Please pray: For the children and teenagers who will receive a drawing or card. Pray that these drawings/ cards they will continue to remind them that they are part of a global church family and that they are loved by God.
For Christian children in Central Asia, for protection from bullying at school and fear at home. Pray that they will shine as a light in their schools and communities.
Pray that the children's Bibles, summer camps and discipleship groups will help these children to grow in their faith.
