Prayer Group Leader

Lead others in committed prayer for the persecuted church

We hope that every Open Doors volunteer regularly prayers for our persecuted family. As a Prayer Group Leader, however, your job is to make prayer a committed part of your spiritual life. You will also help others do the same using both digital platforms like a WhatsApp group and looking for opportunities to promote prayer in your own church context.

Vision

Open Doors believes in the power of prayer to change lives and transform nations. Our founder Brother Andrew once said that our prayers can go where we cannot. “There are no borders, no prison walls, no doors that are closed to us when we pray.” It is our passion to see people awakened to the reality of our brothers and sisters facing extreme persecution because of our shared faith in Jesus. We believe that by praying for our persecuted family, our own faith will be challenged, strengthened and will grow. We want to see people of all ages praying for and with the persecuted church. We are committed to increase and invest in our prayer partners so that persecuted Christians around the world can be covered in constant prayer.
