Help Open Doors tell the story of the Persecuted Church

As an event host, your role would be to help tell the story of the persecuted church at any of our tour stops, trade shows/booth and kiosks during church visits. You would be tasked to share information about countries on our world watch list, sign up people for opportunities to volunteer with Open Doors Canada, field questions and more.

Vision

One of the seven core values of Open Doors Canada is that we are “We are part of the Body of Christ, a ‘people to people people’.” Our founder, Brother Andrew once stated “ we are more valued by our physical presence than the ten best sermons we could bring. Simply being there’ alongside our fellow persecuted brothers and sisters is the single most important thing we can do.” One of the ways we can do this is through attending and serving at events to help attendees develop a deeper understanding of our work for the persecuted church.

How we operate

We strive to create connections and enable networking. This takes place standing at a table as people interact with us and our Open Doors resources before or after a tour presentation, spokesperson or conference.

We offer the opportunity to invite people to volunteer and serve.  As people connect with our materials and catch the heart of our work, this can lead them to sign up to pray for the persecuted church or potentially become a volunteer themselves in a variety of ways.
